Prayers and Praises for 2007
Be in prayer for: our missionaries, Marshall Craig, Larry Morgan, and Ed Potter; our church for this year; Joy, medical; Mike Rogers, medical (non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma); Dan Campeau, continued recovery; Carolyn’s aunt, ill; Carol’s neighbor Eleanor, family; Praise for promotion for Jeremiah Tucker, prayer for Jennifer and girls coming for the summer; the passing of Beth Griffith’s dad
Today is the first Sunday for our new times of services. Our Sunday School now begins at 9am and the morning Worship Service is at 10am. We hope this change will be something we all enjoy. When we meet to worship the Lord is not as important as the fact of our worship and the quality of our worship. Let us lift our voices in praise to God and humbly bow our spirits before Him as we adapt to our new schedule and continue to seek His will.
We hope you are enjoying the CD of Easter music. We want to complete our next CD by the Fourth of July and include some patriotic songs, old favorites and new songs. These CD’s are being done to preserve the music of our church and for the benefit of our members and friends since we have better technology today to produce them than we had in the past.
The Sarah Corner – “And Sarah laughed”
One Liners
- Some minds are like concrete: thoroughly mixed up and permanently set.
- The Lord didn't create anything without a purpose, but mosquitoes come close.
- People: they want the front of the bus, the middle of the road, and the back of the church.
- Quit griping about your church: if it was perfect, you couldn't belong.
- If the pastor wants a better church, he needs to start praying for the one he has.
- Some people are kind, polite, and sweet-spirited until you try to sit in their pews.

Scripture Reading
And they sang together, praising and giving thanks unto the LORD; for He is good, and His mercy endureth forever. And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion a foundation and a stone, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation. He that trusts shall not be ashamed. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Ezra 3:11; Isaiah 28:16; I Corinthians 3:11
