Church Items
- July birthdays: Darrel Griffith, 13th; Leslie Peterson, 30th
- Anniversaries: Ron and Carol, 19th
- The Campeau’s will be traveling to Estes Park and WA beginning July 14. We will have a fellowship next Sunday night July 13th as a send-off for Maria. She will be staying in Washington to go to college.
- We would like to have a weekday work day to clean curtains and other items that are needed. The workday will be this coming Tuesday July 8th in the AM. A list is available for the projects that need to be done.
- We will have a representative from the Gideons on July 20th during the morning worship service.
- We have a new letter from Ed Potter on the bulletin board in the hallway. He emailed us about a recent trip to Ireland. You can see Ed and Abbie’s blog at madeirabaptist.blogspot.com.

The Book of Jude: Contending Earnestly for the Faith
Verses 10-13: Apostates are nothing new
Verse 10: In contrast to Michael, the false teachers engaged in verbal revilings of things they did not understand. They only understood their own instincts, feelings, and animal desires. The Gnostics were so corrupt that they were not able to understand higher and spiritual things, becoming weak and ignorant in their understanding (which was the opposite of what they thought they were). Those who thought they were so spiritual in their use of angelic beings in their religious experience actually denigrated them.
