We would like to have some staple food items here at the church that we can put into a box for any needy that come by. We would only keep one box on hand and when it is given out we will replenish it.

The Sarah Corner – “And Sarah laughed
Blind Date: After being with his blind date all evening, the man couldn't take another minute with her. Earlier, he had secretly arranged to have a friend call him to the phone so he would have an excuse to leave if something like this happened. When he returned to the table, he lowered his eyes, put on a grim expression and said, "I have some bad news. My grandfather just died." "Thank goodness," his date replied. "If yours hadn't, mine would have had to!"
Today’s Sunday School Lesson
New Testament Postcards - I John 5:1-5, We are loved by God who is love and we fellowship in His love. His character lives out in us and we love one another, we obey God, and we overcome “the world.” What is “the world”? It is the spirit of the antichrist in all manner of false teachings and false teachers. The world is displayed when we say we love God while we hate each other; when we are full of disobedience; or when we are guilty of false doctrine. We were saved (born of God) by faith, and therefore everything else related to the Christian life is based on faith. Faith overcomes all.
Today’s Sermon
I Corinthians 15:12-19, The Necessity of the Resurrection: Paul causes us to ask a disturbing question: what if the resurrection was not true? The Corinthian believers were fading in their faith on the Resurrection of Christ and their own resurrection from the dead. The very idea of eternal life was in doubt. The resulting chaos was well-documented within the life of the Corinthian church itself, a chaos that will always result if there is no belief in the reality of the Resurrection.

Scripture Reading
"And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:14-16
