Maria mentioned that she would like to have some of the favorite recipes from our potlucks, so Ruth would like to gather recipes to send to her in Washington.
Greg and Ruth are planning to be gone over Labor Day weekend to Missouri. Ruth will then travel on to Arkansas to be with her Dad on his birthday.
We received word from Mike and Debbie Rogers that they have a new job in Rancho Santa Fe, CA, which is in the San Diego area.

The Book of Jude: Contending Earnestly for the Faith

This will be the last lesson on Jude. We will begin a study of Revelation chapters 4 to 22 next Sunday
This famous passage is to inspire us to maintain our loyalty in the Lord for whom we contend. We will stand with great joy before the Lord because we kept the faith and He kept us.

A local church that is Baptist in doctrine and unaffiliated with any national denomination. We have been worshiping the Lord since our forming in 1988. Some of our members have fellowshiped in this and a previous church for over 50 years. We are families who have come together to try to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth. We support 3 missionaries and try to help as many as we can while pursuing our prime directive as a church to teach the gospel and train followers of Christ. We welcome the utilization of the best translations of the Bible (we are not KJV-only) by each individual believer since each believer has the right to choose for himself in the freedom with which Christ has given.

The Music of Heaven, sung by Pastor Greg Chandler and church pianist extraordinaire Lisa Heald is now available. Pastor Greg and Lisa have recorded some favorite songs as we anticipate our eternal home in heaven. What a day of rejoicing that will be!

We also have church cookbooks available with our favorite recipes from the great cooks of our church. If you're a Baptist church it's in the Statement of Faith that you have to have a lot of potlucks, and therefore you have great cooks.
