The Book of Revelation: Chapter 6
The events of the tribulation period climaxed with the second phase of the second coming of Christ in chapter 19:11-16. The pre-millennial position portrays the events of these chapters as future, that is, "the things which shall be hereafter" (1: 19), and that the translation of the church has already taken place 0 The breaking of the seals as described in this lesson does not occur until the saints of God are gathered around the throne in glory as visualized in the introductory chapters 4-5.
The Truth Shall Set You Free
Today’s Sermon
Ephesians 4:17-23. Walking in Renewal
Before we can live (“walk”) in renewal, we must have been renewed by Christ. Our unity was established by the Spirit of God, and then we were asked to show that unity in our living, to “walk.” Now we are asked to walk in the renewal of thinking and behavior that the presence of the Spirit of God has made possible. Given the environment in which the Ephesian Christians lived this was a tall order; however, their pagan society gave them good examples of what walking in renewal was not, so that they would know what a holy and renewed life actually was.
