FREEDOM BAPTIST CHURCH - December 3, 2006

FREEDOM BAPTIST CHURCH

December 3, 2006

Church Items:

We thank those who helped to make our Ladies Banquet a great time last Friday night. We especially thank Ruth, Carol, Carolyn, Lisa and Joy for doing the planning and the tables to bring it all together. Also thanks to the guys for serving and those who helped to clean up afterwards. We also have beautiful decorations this year and thank the young people for making it happen.

Our Christmas fellowship/potluck/celebration will be Sunday evening December 17 at 5:30pm.
Greg and Nancy will be singing at the Christmas musical at Sunrise Church again this year, Saturday night and Sunday morning, December 9th and 10th. Greg will only be singing on Saturday night so he will not miss a Sunday morning this year.
The carpets got cleaned after the banquet Friday night. Our thanks to Carlton for taking care of the cleaning.

Sarah's Corner – “And Sarah laughed”

After a particularly inspiring worship service, a church member greeted the pastor. "Reverend, that was a wonderful sermon. You should have it published." The pastor replied, "Actually, I'm planning to have all my sermons published posthumously." "Great!" enthused the church member. "The sooner the better!"
