Prayers and Praises for 2007

Be in prayer for: our missionaries, Marshall Craig, Larry Morgan, and Ed Potter; our church for this year; Mike Rogers, medical (non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma); Dan Campeau, surgery on hold for now; Carol’s neighbor Eleanor, family; Jennifer and girls coming for the summer and the birth of Greg and Ruth’s third grandchild; the passing of Beth Griffith’s dad; Beth’s aunt Diane, hospitalized; praise for Ben released from physical therapy; Stephanie Heald’s swim coach, hospitalization; Carolyn’s aunt, illness; Ruth’s Aunt Laverne, recovery; Lynn, upcoming dental surgery and car problems; Jackie’s daughter Elaine, health; Leon and Martha traveling and Leon’s brother in law Dave, health; Bertha and Ralph Cox; Lisa Heald, upcoming surgery

Our deep concern and heartfelt prayers go out to Bertha Cox as she has discovered that she has acute leukemia. She is beginning her treatment and will be in the hospital for about a month. She is strong enough to go through the therapy so we praise the Lord for that. The family does not need anything right now but we will keep you posted on their needs. Because of the therapy she cannot receive visitors other than close family, and flowers and plants are also not recommended. She is in Memorial Hospital, room 1360, phone 365-1022.

Scripture Reading

“Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Phil. 4:11-13
