Vs. 20-21, Build Yourselves Up, “Build” refers to being edified, built up in spirit and made stronger. This is the result of knowing the Word of God which is “the faith,” in this passage our “most holy faith.” The Scriptures are to be studied and applied as the path to personal holiness and personal growth.

The Truth Shall Set You Free

Today’s Sermon
Ephesians 2
“But God” is the Difference - This chapter answers questions for the saved Jews and Gentiles in Ephesus regarding their unity in the church. Paul used the means of salvation, grace, to teach them of their coming together. The reason why people of all walks of life regardless of background or ethnic group can come together in the church is that we all are the same: sinners saved by grace. The fact of grace makes us all equal. Verses 2:1-7 are all one long sentence from Paul.
